Smartphone Review by CNET.

HP iPaq hw6900 Reviews. Smartphones Reviews by CNET. Ok, so we're all familiar with mobile phones, and blackberries, and GPS's and Camera Phones, big deal...

I think we're still really in the infancy of delivering on the promise of the ultimate mobile gadget, but nonetheless I still find it fascinating to watch the progress.

Read the full review of the details, but this latest PocketPC, the HW6900, from HP has the following features:

4.6 x 2.8 x 0.7 inches
6.4 Oz
Mobile Phone w/ Quad Band support - meaning it works pretty much anywhere in the world
Speakerphone
Full Qwerty Keyboard
WiFi & Bluetooth
Windows Mobile 2005 - so you get Internet Explorer, Office, etc
1.3 Megapixel Camera w/ Video recording capability
GPS receiver & Navigation software
416MHz CPU
128MB of Flash + 64MB SDRAM

Nothing new about any of these individual features, but awesome to see them all together released by a prominent manufacturer...

No pricing available yet, but it's a newer version of the hw6515, which goes for about $600USD...

By applying the laws of accelerating returns, and based on the typical way these things work, it's fair to expect that we'll all be able to get a device like this, with even BETTER functionality, smaller, lighter and for about $200-$300 within a few years... Geek it up!
