  Vista, Office, Exchange! Holy Shnikees!

Attended Microsoft's LAUNCH 2007 event in Toronto today. All in all, a pretty good event. Some good information about Vista (Microsoft's newest Desktop OS, the replacement for XP), Office 2007, and Exchange 2007.

Here's the official website for the site... Suprisingly, for me, the best part of the whole day was actually the guest keynote speaker Micheal Treacy, who really said nothing specifically about Microsoft software, but delivered a very compelling presentation about building a business structure to achieve succesful growth - outstanding, very powerful, I'm going to grab both of his books... A streaming video of the keynote (and all the presentations) will be available via the event web site:

Was hoping for an eval copy of Vista, Office, et all, but no joy...

I think a lot. Some people say I think too much... However, I don't want to be seen as being aloof or pretentious, it's just that I really enjoy philosophical questions and deep thoughts. That's not to say that I don't find pleasure in more down-to-earth or trivial things, like beer and soccer :) I'm happily married with 3 wonderful children. I'm a partner in a technology services company based in Toronto. Myers Briggs says I'm an ENTJ
