Google Reader
If you're reading this blog, then potentially you might be interested in this tool... As my web-reading habits begin to change, and as the concept of blogging and RSS becomes more mainstream, I find I'm reading more and more blogs and/or RSS-accessible content and therefore, I'm really in need to migrating myself from having to manually check a bunch of different web sites and look for new content, to having a central, aggregated application where I can read everything...
RSS Readers and aggregators are nothing new! Not at all, it's just that I haven't really NEEDED one until now...
Since I use so many different PC's, I'm always on the lookout for a web-based tool, something that will centralize this... A client-side application isn't going to work for me, I want something I can check out from home, from work, from wherever...
Google Reader seems to do the trick... I'm just now going to start populating it, but SUBSCRIBING to the RSS Feeds of the various blogs or RSS-accessible sites that I read, but once I've finished that process, then I can simply hit my Google Reader page and bam, read through all of the articles in one spot and avoid wasting time clicking through hitting blogs which haven't been updated (like Jason Bonney's).
